Improving strength & fitness goals


Working with Julia has been nothing short of transformative. What started as weekly weightlifting sessions quickly became so much more than just a workout. Yes, I’ve lost weight and gained strength—but the real gains have been in how I feel. Stronger, more confident, and with a completely different attitude toward exercise and personal health. Julia brings such a positive, encouraging energy to every session. She’s endlessly supportive and knows just how to challenge me while always making me feel capable and empowered. Her approach has helped me make meaningful, lasting changes—not just in my fitness, but in my relationship with food, my daily habits, and how I approach life in general. I honestly look forward to our sessions each week. Getting stronger & faster goals


Julia not only ensures I get an excellent workout that’s tailored towards meeting my fitness goals, but teaches me the rationale behind each exercise. She’s extremely knowledgeable, with a lovely manner, and I know I’m in safe hands. I always look forward to and enjoy our personal training sessions and I leave feeling energised and motivated. When we started our PT sessions I asked her to focus on strength training to help me achieve two goals I had set myself as a runner; personal best times over both 5k and half marathon. I’m pleased to say that I’ve now met them both!

Julia is a fantastic PT.  She puts so much time and thought into developing fitness routines that help you reach your specific goals.  She is one of the friendliest and most motivational people that I have had the pleasure to meet, and this has meant that even when I am feeling low on motivation myself, by the time I leave a session with her I feel reenergised. Alongside 1:1 sessions, I have found the use of the fitness app incredibly helpful to keep me going through the week.  Julia is very approachable, kind and helpful; I have loved that she adapts routines for optimal gain and that she keeps me going with feedback via the app during the week.

Improved fitness & muscle definition goals


I’ve known Julia for more than 10 years. We’ve skied together a lot and now she is my personal trainer. I work long hours but somehow the thought of spending an hour or more doing exercises with Julia wakes me up rather than feeling daunting. My goals are to increase my general fitness level and to create better muscle definition in my arms and legs. After just a few sessions I can already see an improvement. Julia is very particular about ensuring that my exercise programme is appropriate and always takes account of areas of my body that have been injured. I cannot recommend Julia highly enough. As well as having strong technical knowledge Julia is a great teacher and you always leave feeling better physically and mentally than when you arrived.

Improved fitness & weight loss goals


I started being trained by Julia in November. As with most 50 something chaps my weight had crept up and fitness levels dropped off. Julia talked to me about my aims, ambitions, lifestyle and diet prior to embarking on a journey of cardio and strength training tailored around my goals. She has proved to be realistic in setting goals and has at all times been aware of previous injuries and their resulting limitations. The results have been steady, of course never as instant as one wishes, but more sustainable over the long term. Within 3 months I had lost over 1 stone, but more importantly my shape was changing, people noticed, comments were made. Nothing is more motivating. I competed in a ski race and felt my performance was vastly improved, over where it would have been without Julia's training and advice. I have the motivation and ability to go for a few 5km runs in between PT sessions. I would thoroughly recommend Julia to anyone looking to take control of their fitness once again.
